Hey All,
It's been awhile since we had a contest for a new logo. There have been some great suggestions in thread asking for tech anniversaries and I need to go through them, but for now let's have a contest for a holiday logo since we're entering the holiday season.
We won't have time to add a Thanksgiving specific logo so feel free to include Thanksgiving themes if you want. And naturally feel free to call up themes of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other holiday that falls this time of year.
General wintery goodness is also welcome, unless of course you live in the Southern Hemisphere. In that case summery goodness is welcome as well.
I think most of you know how this works. Shows us your logo designs here. Make them 304px by 80px and ideally a jpg, .gif, or .png. In the end I'll be taking your image and turning it into one of those formats at that size.
If your image is a different size at least try to have the same proportions. When I resize to 304px by 80px I do so in whatever way is quickest for me. That could mean cropping your image in a way you don't prefer so do your best to get the dimensions right.
We'll let the contest go till the end of the month. I'll be away at the time so you'll probably have an extra day or two if you want.
