Hello! I need a logo for a small bookshop.

Name of shop: Bookshop 1843

The shop is going to carry used books. It's going for a rustic and antique feel. Think of rolling ladders, yellow-tinted lights, tall shelves, dusty corners, etc.

The colors and images used in the logo are free to any interpretation you feel is warranted. We are open to a lot of possibilities.

The logo will be used on a website, as well as on print materials.

We would like the logo by Friday, so the sooner you are able to post, the better! Thanks!

enricotalavera- We like the bookshelf, but overall it reminds us of more of a banner than a logo. Ignore the dimensions if you have to, and see if you can make it more logo-like. Sorry if I didn't explain that well enough.

jimmymav- That is really close to what we were envisioning. That font is amazing. Could you move the 1843 up closer to the Bookshop text. Maybe even if it just overlapped it. Then could you shrink the parchment paper just a little so there isn't as much white space. Thanks!

MrNova- We like the parchment and the colors. We would like the B to be a little smaller and the rest of bookshop to not be italicized.

katesrobyn- We like both. In the first one, can you make the book the same darker brown color as the bottom of shop? In the second one, can you make 1843 the same color as book?

Here's my new entry. Hope you like it.

The good thing about this logo is that it is made of vector shapes in photoshop and it can be resized to any dimension. Also, the colors are compatible to printing.
