I own a directory for the town I grew up in (Boerne Texas). http://www.boernesearch.com The logo I have now needs to be updated. It needs to reflect a good old fashion south Texas small town. But still have the modern look as if to say "we can handle anything"! This is 100% free to the businesses of my little city. So it's all out of my pocket. But it is something I take very serious. It is my way of giving back. Don't get me wrong, I do get upgrade/up sales. I still need to make enough for the cost of the server and logo and so on. So what I need is a good logo and maybe some cool layout ideas. It is a very basic directory that doesn't receive much traffic, but it's my baby and i want it to look good. So please toss out what you think you can do for me. I can also end the contest/pay sooner, I just wanted to get as much input as i can. Feel free to start asking questions.

I can't wait see what you come up with, I want to shy away from the magnify glass and go more toward the the cowboy hat or Texas shape or Lone Star.
