Graphic Design Contests

We need a logo for a new gymnasium.

The name is: The Steeple Center. The gym is located within an old church building. Under the "The Steeple Center" please incorporate the text, "Home of LCAA Sports." We would like this text to be able to be removed for certain printings. We will be using the logo online, in print, and on apparel.

We are open to many ideas, so creativity is welcomed. We were thinking something with a peak obviously, but it doesn't need to be limited to only designs with peaks.

Prize is $35.00 and will be paid by Paypal.

This is my fault as I should've specified- The Steeple Center is a gym in the traditional sense with a basketball court, not weightlifting. I apologize for not making that clearer.

Thanks for the entries so far. They need to be more basketball-oriented.

I tried to find the right pieces to make this - maybe someone will have better luck. Picture a steeple on the left almost full height of graphic minus text. On the right side of the steeple is a basketball hoop near the top of the steeple.
Below the hoop aligned with the bottom of the steeple is the word The in smaller letters. Under the bottom of the steeple is a large S with smaller teeple Large C smaller enter. From just above the r in center is a motion blur arching up toward the basketball hoop with a basketball at the end of the motion blur.
Below Steeple Center is the words "Home of LCAA Sports." Someone try it please.

Sharz- We like the basket/steeple concept, but are unsure about the rest of the design as a whole. Maybe move the text around with the hoop and lose the ball and motion lines. Thanks for your work!
