Cash always works so does linkage, I guess it all depends on the project.

How much linkage? It would be for whole site design. Not just a topbar header.

I'd make a prize of like a 100 backlinks from unique IP class ranges, PR2 and higher.

Or a cash prize of $100.

Or maybe some kind of cool gadget, PS2, xbox, MP3 player, digital camera, software, or something that is really worth competing for.

Maybe some magazine subscriptions.

I still think the trophy is a cool idea.
