Graphic Design Contests

I need it to be the same colors and feel, just more professional.

The same 'feel,' and the same colours differs greatly as a design brief from 'should be as close to the original as possible.' People are working, using their design experience to produce unique designs - we are after all, in competition.

If the prize is going to go to who can copy your attempt more professionally, then it's a waste of everyone's time.

Ok, I will pick from what is done at 10:00pm. I’m not forcing anyone to do anything here. It is their choice to design. Many have pm me for more details on design. I’m sure know one here is a mind reader so they ask questions before they do work or some just assume and give it a go.

Yes I will choose one at that time. I may hit you up for future T-Shirt designs if that is your original work with your first try. I connect my clients up with designers.

Geez, this forum is moving a lot faster than it was a few weeks ago. Whole contests starting and ending really soon.

Deadlines that are longer than one day will get you much more, and better, entries.

Moving too fast for you it would seem Jake, but your 'and better,' comment intrigues me slightly.

Jim ran a competition to a time frame he wanted. He set his brief and, most of us, got it eventually! In this case, it wasn't a detailed task and in the general scheme of things proved relatively simple.

But people didn't have to do anything, but there were plenty of responses and Jim ended up with a logo he was happy with. None of the entries are likely to win any design awards, but so what? Everyone's happy and I see little problem, except for your seeming bitterness that is.

It isn't your place to judge any entry and I don't care how good a graphic artist you may be. But, just for fun, show us a 'better,' design.

Well for future preference it would be a good idea to make the contests longer than one day..

Not everyone has the time to get on everyday and then design the graphic..

And you have to consider the time difference with the rest of the world.. not everyone lives in the US

I live in the UK Dark-Skys99, it was just lucky that I was having trouble sleeping!!

But, it's up to the 'challenge,' setter as to when the deadline should be and we can only work to that.

However, if you do miss the opportunity, there is no reason to moan about it and discredit other peoples efforts, which Jake was clearly doing.
