Thanks Tony_B, I quite like the top one although it does not give any info on what the site is etc. I think the other two are a little too hard to read.

I quite like that one, but the 'horizon' makes it a bit hard to see the 'notsounknown.co.uk' text.

It didn't look very good with a bright stroke on it... So I left it how it was. :-/

Thanks for those, I like the two banners you have done there Tony. I already have the main header for the site, that one there is a temporary site, the design for the rest is just about completed. PM me if you want to see what the site looks like.

Still got about 4 hours if you want to get something done for me

The 'contest' is now over. I'll let you know which design I'd like tomorrow when after I've had a look through whats been posted.

Sorry I have not announced the 'winner' sooner, I have been having computer problems.

Anyway, I would like the two from Dark-Skys99, if you could drop me a PM and let me know how to pay you (PayPal) and so on.

I may post another, more specific contest soon as I did not have many takers for this one. Also if anyone wants to try out a design please PM me as I'm still after more banners.

All PayPal's services, as far as I know, are free. When setting up your account to accept money, PayPal make two small deposits (usually of only a few pence) in your designated bank account. Once those have gone in, you will be asked to enter the two amounts on the site when you login. It is simply a verification process.
