Ill take a jab at an idea, though I am have never done anything like this I do have a friend who traveled through america with her backpack, beater old car and stayed in hostels. This idea I have actually looks like her. So I hope this was the type of backpacker you were looking for. Of course the verbage and colours could be tweaked.

Ok guys/gals, this contest has ended. I have to admit, it was very hard for us to decide. Even harder with that last submission by nodesign. Nodeisgn could you please e-mail me about that banner you made? I have a "sub offer" for you.
