Hello, I have produced a website www.valentinecuisine.com/GDS however; I feel that the logo is appalling. How would you recommend going about creating a new logo. I was thinking something similar with the text leading down to the right but they are interlocking extruded text. Does anyone agree or know where i can find some good tutorials and what programs I need to do this. The logo I think will have to be pretty much the same as it has already appeared on letter heads to my disgrace!

Dear Walker,

As a marketing company I would suggest to give it a more professional / corporate look. As for the logo, I would suggest a short, simple symbol that represents what your company stands for.

Are you talking about the the banner logo or the "GDS" logo that appears below the banner? Or Both?

I can try to come up with something, if you want. It won't cost you anything.

You did not ask about this, but it is important- so I better mention it. You will do much better if you have your own unique url. GDSmarketing.com would be nice, except it is taken. At the time that I checked, GDShome.com was available. You'll do better with search engine and directory listings, if you have your own domain name.

Hi the site isn't ready yet hence they havnt paid for their own domain and hosting and wont until its finished! Thanks for the offer it is only the GDS image (its nothing to do with the banner) on the left of the main text. I think that it will have to be letters again. Is it possible to interlock extruded letters?

Thanks a lot! Basically just GDS dropping down to the right. I quite liked the text at the bttom of that link i showed :S e.g. Gourmet Demo Services. I am also playing on photoshop but i am not getting anywhere!

Walker... here is a one that might work. You are welcome to use it. It has a blue border that matches your page background, so you can see what it would look like on the current page.
