Logo Contest

Hi
Basically I'm looking for a logo for a website called Peripheral Vision. The logo will be used on the website and also possibly printed media. There are no constraints on colours, fonts etc - just looking for imaginative ideas. The size needs to be about 'top of website' size (if you see what i mean ) but not particularly important and i'm sure it will be able to be adjusted if needed
I can offer the winner a small hosting package or a small cash prize. I'll choose the winner in a week or so.
Look forward to seeing some entries!
Cheers
Stoot
P.s. If you need anymore info give me a PM
** I reserve the right to not pick a winner or end the contest early **

Matt

170 Designs: thanks for kicking the contest off! i like the colour scheme and i think i may go with a red/grey scheme for the website which i'm going to be working on soon. However, im not too sure about the font of the initial inside the square and also it is a bit to square, in that it would be nice to see a sort of "curvy" type of thing -you know not so rigid. Btw, im not writing this off so dont get disheartened im just trying to throw some more info your way so we can both get the best out of it.
Good work tho, keep 'em coming everyone!
Stoot
ps. lilgee the deadline will probably be in a week from the start...so next saturday - although i may extend it if ive not found something im entirely happy with.

stoot98, check the logo again in my earlier post. For now, I like the logo myself, I changed the font, and although you said you would like it more curvy/round, I'll leave it for now and maybe you'll change your mind . If not, I got some time to think something else up so I'll post it sometime.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the entries - at the moment i think Dotmeup's entry is in the lead, i really like the eye however, is there any chance you could try to alter it to have a sort of dark red/grey colour scheme as thats what i've decided on for the whole site?
I would really like to see a couple more entries incorporating an eye, to go with the whole vision thing, i dont want to sound unappreciative cos you guys have clearly put loads of effort in and i really appreciate it.
Cheers

stoot98: what kind of website is it? i mean as in hosting company, rock band, cherry pie store ... etc "The size needs to be about 'top of website' size" - does the website have fixed width? if so is it designed for 800 or 1024? "also possibly printed media" - as in contracts and legal stuff or as in brochures and magazines? ...anyway, here's another try (3 variations). first variation: here.second variation (i like this most ): here.third variation: here.
... and here a variation to the square in my first post (just for fun) here.
let me know what you think of them please

OmuCuSucu i probably didnt give enough detail to begin with so heres some answers to your questions...
It's a web solutions website, doing things such as hosting, websites, that sort of thing.
The website is fixed size, designed for 800x600 (about 750 width).
Yes, it will be used in things such as letter heads, business cards, flyers etc.
I've just uploaded the website framework so you can check it out (the space at top left is for logo)
PV Design
Hope this helps, thanks for all the entries they're looking really good.
