i dont know if the term would be blend or fade, but here is what im looking to do

say i have a standard jpg image and I want to do a little fade into the image like that, how do I do that?

You can do that effect with the Interactive Transparency tool found in both CorelDRAW and Corel PhotoPaint. It's on the left toolbar - somewhere depending on your configuration.

also, anyone also know how to create a certain color with corel draw? like on my website, there is a color called 660066 and its purple, how can I create that exact color using corel? thanks
