Webblets needs a fun, yet professional looking logo. It is a family oriented game and entertainment community.

There is no specifics for design, we want to keep the sites basic blue design, so a logo that works with it would be great. Something fun, light, attractive to adults AND children is about the only guidelines we have. Entries can be posted in any format, but we will require the winner of this contest to provide us with the original layered file, .psd format preferred.

We are offering an advertising prize in lieu of money as the site makes none at this time, but has good page hits and great alexa rankings (86,303).
All entrants will receive a link in our upcoming Logo/Graphic Artists area for 1 year, and winner will receive an additional 500,000 banner impressions free!

Hi,

Thanks for the responses so far. I find I need to verify a few things:

We are looking for something better than what we have. Some kind of cute character maybe? A friend had a nice idea, but I dont have the graphics savvy to pull it off, but maybe someone out there can? Or can think of something better.

Idea 1. To have little computerlets jumping out of a larger computer, hence webblets, little webs rolled into one.

Idea 2. Some kind of really cute spider web that noone could find scary, not even the worst arachnophobics. Possibly spinning little webs that can be used as buttons for major areas?

Does this help? File size of course will come into play also, as the smaller file size will keep our already busy site building reasonably quickly. Animation is not necessary, dotted curved lines to denote movement would be just as good.

We appreciate all attempts, they dont have to be as stated above. All attempts will receive free advertising for one year, just to show our appreciation.
