Personally, it wouldn't have been my choice (you did ask for comments) but it's your site - your choice I'm glad you found one that you loved though.

It wasn't that I thought the design was bad or unprofessional at all, I just didn't particularly like it but that is in regards to my taste - not in judgement of the work. I guess perhaps I didn't make myself clear and you thought I was bashing the artist which wasn't the case at all. (nor was I suggesting mine would have been my choice either)
I however did feel that others on this post put forth very professional work, even if it wasn't exactly what you had in mind.

Glad that you found your logo but I think that the current one could use a little smoothing. I mean that the edges are too sharp for the font.
