Hey all busy trying to design a template for my site but have run into designers block. I've only done the basic outlay but have gone blank.

Just wanting to see if anyone has any comments, on what could be done with the template, and what should be changed.

Looks pretty cool so far, I'd envision the text areas or whatever you're going to put in as content being in similar black boxes like you have in the header with a bright green text, kind of like old fashoned monitors ... of course, I don't know what you have in mind for content but that's what I see... I'd also imagine them coming off the box a bit, maybe out of sync - not all lined up. If you're doing multimedia you could have play buttons under the boxes to have whatever your showing off play on command.

Personally I'd choose a different shade of green. That one is too pale.

To be honest, at the moment, it looks like a standard blog page (which I guess isn't the effect you're going for).

I am so into that as well... something like a jade.. glossy dark colored green

I like it so far but I think it looks top heavy. I expected to see the same size footer as I scrolled down. I wonder how it might look if you carried the black from the header down around the outside on the right only, change the four pinstripes to a midrange gray and extended those down to the bottom as well. The black along the edge could wrap into the body (over or under the pinstripes) to create content area breaks in two or three spots. Hmmm....

Thanks all for your suggestions. Ive edited the bottom bit at the moment and will be taking your comments into account. Andromeda have you got a source code for the green your thinking of? Ill give it a go and see how it comes out.
