As fast as I could, about 15 minutes, without image creation.

BTW, use CSS, not tables. Tables are bad.

...I got the images from Google. keywords I used were cork and wood tiled. Then I just made the page.

So including image creation, and making sure the mouse overs worked, etc?

What...30 minutes if you had to get the images from google?

No Im a programmer, but I was just wondering how long it would take a seasoned designer to do it. I don't really know how to do it with CSS only. I only have dreamweaver and the DIV placement doesn't work in my version, so I use tables.

Using google image search, probably 20-30 minutes for searching and editing graphics. Coding it all I'd add another 15-20 minutes.

Not very long at all, the design is extremely simple. It's pretty safe to say I'd do something like that in under an hour.

An hour at the most, including time to agonize over finding just the right texture images and/or fonts (I spend far too much time on those elements).

If I already had the images? Fifteen sounds about right.

It would probably take me about an hour. Could take more though. I am more of a design person rather than a coder though.
