Not sure what you need to achieve. Do you want your main site background to show through the i-frame and for some reason can't do it by creating the reference page with the same b/g? Happy to help if I can, just need a little more info. (Either that or I'm just really out of it today.)

I have a backround image on my main page, and I want an Iframe on that page not to have a visible background. I want it to line up with the background of the main page and all that.

I have no experience with iframes, but, I see no reason why this CSS should not work:

Code:
iframe {background-color: transparent}
Either put that into your stylesheet to make all iframes transparent, or make it a style such as:
Code:
.clear {background-color: transparent}
and add this:
Code:
class="clear"
to anything you want to have a transparent background, or add it as a style to your iframe:
Code:
<iframe style="background-color: transparent" ...>...</iframe>
Good luck!

You need to add the 'allowtransparency=true' instruction to the line of code relating to the iframe in the main page...

<iframe><........allowtransparency=true></iframe>)

...whilst also including the 'background:transparent' instruction in the Srylesheet for the iframe source.
