i would like some advice on my graphics. i want to add some color, i was thinking maybe yellow #ffff00 or darker red #920000. i really dont know how to add it. maybe something with the logo on the left. any ideas?

What image editor are you using spud?

Maybe some subtle flames around the base of the character outline, as if he is standing in a ring of fire with some of the longer, more defined flames going up the page behind him (left) and forming a corner design element. A smaller version of the corner element could be included on the top right for balance.

I wouldn't overdo or go for detailed graphics; better to keep the streamlined, sleek look of the page.

OT: Regarding your current top post: What did her eyebrows ever do to her that she would be SO cruel to them?

i couldn't get flames to look good, so i was playing around with filters for a while. let me know if it looks any better now.

I like it. Maybe a touch too heavy on the treatment of the figure outline. Either that or the text needs something. The figure far 'outweighs' the top text and tends to draw the eye away from the actual content entries. Maybe do a faint white glow around the header text to give it some fullness?
