Well, I'm learning how to use BlitzPlus (a programming software if you havn't heard of it) and to learn the code, instead of just playing around with it, I decided it would give me the best experience if I worked on a personel project (a computer game called Warlords) in which i will probably never finish
I decided, even if I don't finish my project, it will help to develop a better understanding of game making, and make going into future projects MUCH easier.
Anyways, I'm working on the Title page, as well as planing how the code will work, and gathering sound files, and graphics for the rest of the game. As far as making loading bars and the such, I've been able to do apretty good job, but when I found this knight, I knew it was JUST the thing to place on the Main Menu!
However, the firey background stuff in the photo, dosn't look very good with my buttons, and it dosn't fit on the page properly. So instead, I decided to make the background all BLACK, but just leave the knight and his sword. I was originaly useing a different version of this image, and it looked amazing on the main page!
I simply resized the image, made it fit on the screen better, then fliped it to make it look better (the image will be aligned to the LEFT).
The original image is made by the company that made Oblivion the game, and that is why I'm making this a personal project. Many of the graphics I'm useing come from other people. So I have a credits page that I add to every time I find something that I decide to use. When I'm finished (if I ever do) I will email the original artists one by one and ask for permission to distribute the game amongst friends. I assume some will say yes, as most of the places I'm getting these images are from groups of people that are working on a mod, or that just like to make graphics images. Never the less, they WILL be informed.
I think graphics is a REALLY fun field, and originaly I thought I would go into game design, but now I think I'll look into graphic art. I would like to find courses at my comunity college, but as of now, I'm a bit young to go there, so I'm just kinda learning game programming through books and tutorials.
Anyways, thats all the juicy details I can muster

Yeah, I was attracted to him because of that look he gives you, it JUSTR what you want for a computer game. He looks interesting, exiting, but still a bit dangerous. I really like that bronze armour he has, it fits right into the game!
