Graphic Design Contests

Hi,

I am looking for an email newsletter template to suit my site at http://www.notsounknown.co.uk/nsu/.

Thats about it really, it must have the logo and same colour scheme. It needs several content sections and spaces for some pics.

An idea of what an issue will contain - New releases, featured band, top 10 downloads, news and maybe a short article.

I don't want it too graphic instensive - simple, clean and good looking.

I will leave this open until 5th Feb, winner will receive $20 by PayPal and I reserve the right not to choose a design if i don't feel any are suitable. Please be sure to watermark your images so I can'ty be accused of stealing or anything like that.

I look forward to seeing your submissions, any questions please ask.

I'll see if I can slow the ticker down a bit - not sure how though! It's an applet from Tufat.com - perhaps in the xml file somewhere!

Thanks for the entry. That looks a little too basic, perhaps because there is no content in it, also I don't feel that fits in with the current site design too well.

Thanks for the entry. Again though, that doesn't really fit in with my design.

Attached is a screenshot of the site...

Basically I would like something along the lines of this, the dark green (#669900) header with the logo (top left), then perhaps an orange bar underneath where I could enter the details of the newsletter (issue number etc).

Then I would want the content boxes, using a layout similar to the site, all the graphics and even layout are there already! I think I'd like a large column on the left with a smaller column on the right for top 10 downloads, new bands etc.

I'd say the overall width sould be about 550px so it can be easily viewed in mail programs.

What is the name of the font you use in your logo and in the headers on you website? Do you know where I can get it? I want to use it in the design I am making for you.

Sorry guys, the font is 'Stereofidelic' and is avaliable at http://www.notsounknown.co.uk/STEREOFI.TTF.

The best by far is Angele803's latest - post 14 - http://www.webmaster-talk.com/206611-post14.html.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there!

Due to how much I like Angele803's design I have decided to close it early so I don't waste anyones time.

I will contact Angele now via PM to arrange payment etc.

Sorry guys, the only reason I ended it early was because I liked that design and didn't want to choose another.

I realise that some people may have already started designs but I may also have stopped people wasting their time.

In hindsight, what I should have done was bring the date forward, and if I ever want/need to end a contest early again I'll do that.

Also the fact that I may have to go for surgery before the end of the week means I may miss the deadline and people may think I'm scamming

jake - to be honest, I wouldn't have chosen that initial design.
