Right, now this isn't exactly a 'grahpics' contest but I though it would be appropriate here as the taglines will be used for banners...

I am looking for some taglines to go on banners for an MP3 download site. The site is located at http://www.notsounknown.co.uk.

The site is for unsigned and indpendent 'alternative' bands to sell their music in MP3 format. The genres covered are, punk, metal, rock, emo, grunge etc.

I am offering $5 for each one I like and may want to use. ayment by PayPal only, I will state in the thread if I wish to buy one then contact you by PM for your paypal email address.

I understand how you might feel about entering this one, as there is no way of protecting your line against me just copying it, but, please feel free to look at previous competitions I have one and contact any of the winners.

The contest will run for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 2 weeks, depending on entries.

I am in need of 1 fairly quickly, so early entries will be appreciated

Also, just wanted to say that I think recedo is pretty trustworthy. I worked on a project for him and was paid quickly and treated nicely.

The first one is probably a 'buyer', I'll have to wait for a few more entries first though. Not too keen on the second one though, although I can't really explain why!

Okay, these aren't the greatest, especially since I just got home from a hard day at school, but meh. It's worth a shot at least. And these may also inspire you, or somebody else to come up with something great for your site.

wow! I've been away for a few days and managed to miss the replies! I'll take the time later on to look through these properly and announce a few winners for the time being. I know there are quite a few there I like.

While we want to have a few tag lines we don't want too many. An absolute minimum of 1 for the 'customers' and 1 for the bands, probably looking at 3-4 for each.

I know what you mean. It links to some of the others I suggested, so you would have to take those too...
