I need a logo of an ape or monkey watch a video. I am willings to pay $10-$15 dollars for it. I would like it to be 300x100. I don't need the whole logo. For example i want the msn butterfly but not the logo.

Could you provide details of what the logo is for? Details like this help designers know which direction to go in. Also, who is your target audience?

my target audience is 13-30. It is a video website. I am paying through paypal only. Go to this link Click here to see color theme. You should use that colors when making the ape. Image must be .PSD format.

He was caught doing this, WITHOUT purchasing the rights to the image used in the logo, on another forum (namepros.com) and has not posted ever since.

170 Designs good looking out. The buttom right hand corner was the logo i wanted to use. But it looks just like the one at istockphoto. If i go to istockphoto and buy the set can i make my own logo out of it.

Yes, that is correct. You can indeed purchase the rights to it and then make your own logo.

For the record though, I almost guarantee that the rest of his "entries" are stolen off of somewhere too - the monkeys in them at least. For more references:

Sigh... Remember... A designer is only make up a thing to it beauty. He asked for a monkey with TV, so there is where I get it. I don't mind he don't want it, like he said "i make my own logo out of it." Of course, everyone can, just the way they make it. Or? You think stock photo for? And another thing, rip and use, clarify it.

Show us the full size version of the image, not the thumbnail size.

Also, yes, show us a screen shot (dated) of when you purchased credits for IStockPhoto

I didn't enter this contest in the end, but have watched it. I find it very frustrating when putting in lots of time and effort to come up with an idea, to see that someone has simply copied and pasted a copyrighted image and called it their own design.

Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes. I am a member over at namepro's too and had noticed some patterns emerging.

Wong provided an image of buying credits at istockphoto but it was dated yesterday, meaning he bought the images after I mentioned something.

Also, as shown in this thread, when I asked (due to suspicion) if he drew the monkeys, he said he did draw them from photos, but he clearly didn't.

Mods, I suggest immediate action be taken.
