Calling all right brainers and whole brainers... I have a logo and need a new header & background image for http://www.insiteswebservices.com/

$50 to the winner, the contest ends June 1st. The winning work will fit with the CSS navigation element on the left. Right now the elements on the page are disconnected, it is begging for some continuity.

The logos:

no grids

There are two logos to work from, your choice. I like the one with the grids across it, but it's probably more difficult to work with. I will not weigh the use of one logo heavier than the other, i will simply choose the header&background that makes for the best page.

Background... its kind of hard without trying it on the website and adjusting it to see what looks best. i can work with you with the background if you have aim im me at DistinctiveGfx or pm me here.

Banner
I can edit or you can use the resize option in html to align the banner to fit your menu and website.

Cool, the banner image has depth, i dig that, but the logo has lost too much definition.

Also I think using the eye in the background makes for too many distracting eyeballs.

I was imagining something pretty simple for the background, it could certainly have design element to it, but it's really to provide a container for the page.

I like where you're going, think clean and slick.

Here's a header that I redesigned utilizing your grid logo, and also a new background.
I still don't understand why the background showed up as regular size and the header didn't here.

But if you click on it, you'll see it. Of course, the size can be changed to whatever you want it to be.

I was thinking of making the top red bar run across the page and same for the weird structed bottom red bar.

I can also change the red to another color..

very nice work folks, really cool. I like aspects of all of them. I think resonant is my fav so far. I could move the menu and body until it touches the header, and drop the border on the header. This would have the depth and flow i'm looking for.

I'd love to see some non-rectangular ideas, it looks sorta blocky still. How about some nice curves? Also, i am not married to the borders/colors in the div layout tags if that affects design choices.

MY APOLOGIES : I am not using the insitesonline.org domain anymore, so aside from creative inspirations, the header should have the logo, phone number, and a 'contact us' link. I like the idea of having some empty space in the header for text that I can change anytime.

do you have a better quality or psd of your logo please, i'm struggling to resize the small picture...and keep it looking good...

i don't have a "big" logo to work from. I do have a big eye to work from without the text.

The eyeball is a little scary if it's too big, so the scale should be kept similar to the present logo.

I also like the look of the current text, but am open to it changes in the text of the logo if it's something close or just plain better : )

Hi,

you said you wanted to have the site looking more one piece. To achieve this, i would change the overall layout of the website a bit. I bit of the content boxes could be aligned a bit different.

This creates a complete new effect(coding of the new layout wont be difficult). I also changed you logo for a bit (actualy a bit of a remake for picture quality purposes). I have removed the search box but this was a mistake. It just deleted when i was editing the image :P.

I am still struggling with the background. I think it should be plain but not white. So i have added a gradient. I am not really happy with it yet. I am thinking about this.

Halbarad, i really like the background, this does make it seem less broken.
But, I like my original logo better.

I really like what you've done, and am curious what this bg would look like with a thin header of some sort.

For feedback on the logo, the eye is too big, and i like the multi-color multi-font look of the current logo.

Also, the company name is "Insites Web Services," not Insites Online Web Services, sorry for the confusion.
