Graphic Design Contests

the site is hiphopscrypt.com. we need a main page almost like the forums, same header and logo thats on the forums, but we want flash in this. when someone comes on, we want **** moving. lol. use ur imaginations. here are some basic examples of what we are lookin for, but these have no flash. sohh.com and rapmusic.com. cause we have interviews and ads we need on here...so, we will need to play around with it. if there is anymore info needed, i will be checkin up on this daily.

contest ends: june 30th....but, may cut it short....so get your responses in asap! lol.

payment: 75 usd paypal

if anything is needed...my aim is scrollsdbs and my email is scrollsoracle@comcast.net thank you...lets get started...

Does that matter as i could make a really cool layout with out flash

Well heres the first entry to get it rolling, but $75 isnt enough to be opening flash, think your pushing it asking for a full main page with flash for $75, and in my case £40.

Also, will the winner be expected to code it too?

well..for starters, id like to say to emkay that apparently Scrolls (co-owner of HHS) didnt like the design you did (Just finding out about this now...so hell if i know about that) second..There are plenty of people here that will design a main page with a lil bit of flash (such as the navbar etc.) so 75 is enough daniel...as for that header...my associate must not have gave the right link..look at hiphopscrypt.com/forums not hiphopscrypt.com (we want nothin to do with whaetevr main page is currently up!) We are going to replace that asap once we get a far better design...

also...to emkay...you can also redesign your page that you have exampled, and it will still be 75 dollars to you

...But my associate wanted more to it, such as better ad placement, etc....(shown in examples of his description above)..So if you would like to redsign some of your example, I would be glad to view that as well (And, of course, whoever shows the best one at the soonest time, will win this contest)

sorry I am not prepared to try again I don't have the time or the determination to do it know because you require flash and have started a competition after we have agreed on private business work.

Oops yeah, lovin the new banner, though it would of been better with some old skool rappers instead of eminem and may j blige who comes under R&B not hip hop, eminem is pop.

Heres my second try, I don't really think you need flash, just some simple rollovers such as the one I demonstrated on the following design will do the job, and with IE's recent court battle over flash, you have to click twice on links, one to activate the flash, second to click the link, so it will pissing off anyone who has the most recent updated version of IE.

HHS Underground, Exclusive Interviews, Events. Store, Contact Us
(This is what i think we will use, although, when i get up with scrolls, we will decide it 100 percent for the navbar button names

I like the rest of the set-up though...looking nice
There may be a few changes etc. that we would want you to do for that example (As for anyother entrants, keep em comin, but for now, Dan is on the right track! Yall gonna let him win!!?!?!?!

It wouldnt be similar (there are so many ways to do different designs..its limitless based on our specs (We just simply needed our logo and header and those colors...and the right buttons for the navbar...thats basically it...everything else is limitless with design...of course we'll need ad placement areas...but that doesnt limit design any...everything is up to the creative minds of the designers)

Im likin 170's entry...maybe a smaller navbar would look better..someting more to the way the forums navbar is...(but with those same buttons you have on your entry of course

) As for anyother editing requests..i dont know for now..I'll have to get up with scrolls and get back to ya...

I would say both height and width..more to the size of the forum page...but i actually do like the font and design of the buttons, so def keep that

This contest is now closed, and we dont have an "actual" winner as of yet BUT, we ARE going to choose 170Designs design for purchase
