Graphic Design Contests

After getting some unfavorable reviews of my header on our website I am posting a $25 logo redesign contest. Our current logo can be viewed at www.limitedgoods.com -- sorry about the load time on the website, we are working on that but you can get an idea of the colors we are going for. Also it should be noted that WE CAN NOT USE "LG" by itself -- it is a copyright infringement as you could imagine. The winner will be commissioned for more graphic design projects for the website. In addition we are looking for a designer for a specific flash project we have in mind. Good Luck.

Newbe alert sorry yea just thought id warn you before you saw my entry

just some basic designs.

I love what I can do with the liquid tool

Kept the idea the same as your current logo, I think the idea you have is good, just the choices of fonts and effects let it down.

Let me know what you think, or do you want something completly new?

Do you mean tutorial sites? Try good-tutorials.com

I just expanded the selection of each letter by 3 pixels and filled it white, then added some effects, stroke, inner shadows etc

Is there a set date for when this contest will end?

There is not set end date -- it ends when we see the logo that we like. Also it should be noted that WE CAN NOT USE "LG" by itself -- it is a copyright infringement as you could imagine

Or an easier way would be:

Create 2 text layers with your text
Rastizize(i think thats how its spelt) both the text layers (right click the layers in the layers box)
Then free transform the letters so that they resemble what you are after.
