its a new style based on old big band ,swing, with key hits within, accentuating through guitar, backing dance - hip hop based.
results will be tonight, might be late on kev will be round this evening and were going to sit down and go through all so entries must be finalised and in by then,
neon i was wondering if the whole image can be reversed into white and black, it would be good to see the contrast say for going on a white t-shirt..
Same with you flatlander keep the red but id like to see the image reversed into white back and black font and pheonix.
If that cant be done by tonight its okay , well make our desicion tonight anyway.

Hi All, ITS RESULT TIME

Firstly i'd like to thank all who have contibuted to this competition and all who have contibuted to this post. At the end it was a very hard decision but we ended up with two very close contenders.
Thanks to incites given by other talkers like vorpal, we realized that one image by flatlander was controversial straight off, wich is great for a band. This as well as the feeling of something familiar, the influences behind the image etc have all contibuted to the winning choice

thanks again to all who entered, as i said earlier first shot at one of these forum things and have really enjoyed it, will keep looking in and we will be looking in the near future to design our website so will definetally be looking here first.
