I think "neonimage" should be banned from the forum unless 'Vorpal' or He himself provides some sort of a proof to defend himself!

I had a strong feeling this was a scam from the very start. This is why everyone should be cautious and watermark their entries. I know a lot of people hate watermarking and it isnt a lock-tight way of protecting yourself, but it helps. I really think this was a scam and someone got ripped.

Well then if someone sees his design on a site that he didn't gave his logo to, get yourself a lawyer and make your logo well-payed

In this case I don't think that it matters whether the image is photoshoped or not. It is better IMHO to give an image that represents a final look in the "real world" with reflections, textures, etc. It is most likely that the file needs to be done in solidworks, or similar 3D software used for engineering anyways, so that the metal or the mold can be made using precision machinery.

I also don't think watermarking has any real use in this case. Your idea (or parts of it) can be stolen whether it has a watermark or not.

As I read through your comments I became convinced that the contest was fake. I would not be surprised if one of the designs actually ended up on the car, otherwise I don't see any real purpose to putting this much energy into faking a contest.

Well-well-well. I've come here because a family member insisted I come see what was going on. I personally haven't been back on this thread since my last post not even to read your replies to my last post and I still haven't. lol. What would be the point?! I've spent my time entering other contests and building my portfolio with variety.

Why would a person put so much energy into a fake contest? Who said he put so much energy in to it? Let's get intuitive -- lol -- shall we and look at the number of possibilities.

Could it be:
Vorpal is a P-R-A-N-K-S-T-E-R ... that spells prankster.

Could it be:
Vorpal is just straight bored and needed to get some sense of thrill in his/her life?

Could it be:
Vorpal makes this as some sort of sexual fetish (there are a number of fetishes (and most are bizarre) and this could be one of them).

Could it be:
Vorpal likes to see how he can control people.

Could it be:
Vorpal needs attention (after all he was going on other threads telling people to go to this thread).

Could it be:
Vorpal got rejected at Sitepoint.com for not being able to prove he's legit and thus not allowed on the site.

Could it be:
Vorpal just enjoys watching people try to please him.

Could it be:
Vorpal likes to build everyone up just to tear them down.

Could it be:
Vorpal is posting your ideas in some other contest as his own changing the words of course or maybe even keeping it the same, just to be brief and not get into how he'd go about. Let's just say with the software these days anything is possible.

Could it be:
Vorpal is legit and since vorpal symbolizes death the last one does look vampire-ish so it's not surprising it would win. I actually like it and can see just the 'v' and the gargoyle look of the lines beside it on a vehicle minus the wing-grill look. Would I drive a vehicle with a symbol that represents death? No. lol.

So many endless possibilities but that's all I'll post. If Vorpal and Neon aren't one in the same or some team then Neon, CONGRATULATIONS! If they are I still congratulate you for pulling this prank off. If it is one.
