Graphic Design Contests

Hey we're a new car company that has just started out called Vorpal, we do sports cars and we have 2 models under design at the moment, apart from we need a logo ASP! were looking for somthing flashy and that looks expensive maby metallic but bear in mind this is gonna be put on the front of a sports car people so this has gotta be top quality **** here and im just gonna say get lost if you put in a design thats really crap. I need one done!!! FAST! the earliest ones will be most likely of winning!
There needs to be VORPAL on the front.

WOW! id love to do this apart from im away for 5 days so i cant make a logo will that effect my chances??

mmm i'll need the logo in say 20 days so it may effect your chances a little but it'll be good for others now your out of the compettion for 5 days (hehehe) but if you think you got it when you get back WORK YOUR ARSE OFF!!! hehehehe

and no DONT pm it post it HERE on this thread i want people to get inspiration from it and then make a better one, i dont care who wins i just want a TOP QUALITY LOGO!!
and if no one can produce it then i'll go to another forum. but im not thinking about that becuase im hoping some people will post some TOP QUALITY designs.

Do you mean you are going to pay someone $1600?? As in one thousand six hundred US dollars? That is quite a large amount for this forum so I wanted to be sure this was correct and not a typo.
Also, designers beware, I know that I have participated in contests here where a new user has promised a large sum of money and then have been ripped off. I dont mean to pre-judge vorpal and appologize for being so blunt. Just everyone needs to be sure to properly watermark your entries.

Hm i would love to enter this contest, But it does sound a bit dodgy i mean most contest on this forum are for around $40. Maybe you should have a look at the sitepoint forums

I sent Vorpal a private message asking him for a picture of one of his personal cars he is selling or the he said he planned to put it on. i set my privates to notify me when it was opend.....haha that sounds funny....i set my private message i sent to him to notify me when read. He opend and didnt answer back to me at all with a yes i will no i wont or kiss my booda. NOW im iffy about the reality of this person, if it was ligit why he didnt say chit?
