The purpose of the Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition is to raise the awareness of area residents to green building and sustainable living issues.
· The winning logo will appear on our World Wide Web Home Page, on NEIGBC publications, and on correspondence. The winner will have a page on our website to tell about themselves, be given a complimentary one-year membership to the NEIGBC, and be recognized at the awards banquet in December. A $20 cash prize will be given to non-local winners. Local winners will receive gift certificates worth the same.
· The logo should incorporate such ideas as sustainable living, green construction and environmental stewardship. See the USGBC logo www.usgbc.org for an example.
· The logo should either use the initials “NEIGBC” or the words “Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition”.
· 'Scale-ability' is important. Entries should be approximately 5" x 5", but must accommodate reductions to 1” x 1”.
· Colors may be used, but the design should be easily adaptable to black and white, as well as being dropped out (reversed).
· You may submit as many entries as you want.
· Entries will not be returned.
· All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not violate copyright law.
· The winning submissions will become property of the Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition.
· This competition is open to everybody everywhere.
· Rules are subject to change without notice.
· We reserve the right to reject any submissions for any or without reason.
· The deadline for the contest is Oct. 31, 2006. Submissions must be received by 5 pm or postmarked in order to be considered. Submission format

· A brief design concept / description, and submitter's full name, address, email address and phone numbers.
· Entries may be submitted as low-resolution .jpeg or .pdf files.
· Finalists will be asked to submit high resolution print-ready scalable vector format files of the logo, such as portable EPS, SVG or Adobe Illustrator AI. JPEG or PNG thumbnail with a resolution of 640 x 480.
· Original program files may be requested once the contest winner has been chosen.

has anybody actually made contact with the person after he/she posted the first post... like by PM or anything... it's been a few days hasn't it, i wouldn't waste your time unless some more contact is made.....
