Graphic Design Contests

I am paying $80 for a logo. Paypal. I've paid out money for contests on this board before.

The word is Creatures.

I need it to look good at 150x55 as well as larger.

It should look and feel smooth, polished, and it should be green through and through. There is no need for anything extra besides the word. Gradients and natural light effects.

It's better not to use a normal font. The only requirements are that it needs to be able to be read at a glance.

I'm not sure if you will want the reflection, I have however supplied two - one is smooth, the other has a rougher effect.

Right now, Lorelei's second entry looks the best in my opinion. The contest is still going on so someone can try to outdo it if they wish. The reasons I like it are that it reminds me of the jungle, is fun, engaging, and good for kids. The reason I don't like it particularly are that I might be trying to get other organizations to work with me, and it might be too unprofessional. But I might go with it anyway.

So it has to appeal to kids? Do you want the font to be "scary"?
