Graphic Design Contests

Hopefully this is less controversial.

The logo part is an 'A' and 'H' placed so that they form a kind of a face which is 'almost human' with the eyes, nose and hair. Colours and text can be changed, I focused more on the logo part than the bottom text at this point. It's simple, yet easily recognisable.

. I think it's called Blade 2 in the pack I got it with.

Another variation. I incorporated the A and H into a more distinguishable face. I offset the smooth look of it with a grunge type font.

You guys must have forgot about post #87 where I said:

"I'm heading out of town on business tomorrow morning, but should be back by Wednesday afternoon. "

We are announcing a winner today. We've reviewed all the entries, and we have a consensus of everyone but the drummer. As soon as I hear form him this afternoon that he's onboard with the choice, we'll announce the winner here. Thanks a million for everyone and their entries...you guys have some really great ideas going on here. Be back this evening!

After talking with the guys, we've decided to go with Neon's logo. Congrat's! I know he has a few of them, so Neon...I'll write you shortly after we discuss which one we want to use. We did decide on your theme, and wanted to go ahead and call the contest there. I'll hit you up shortly with more specifics, and we can also discuss payment arrangements, how you want to be credited on the album, website, etc.

For everyone else, we thank you a LOT for your entries. There's actually a lot we like, and we're contemplating hitting up a few of you about using them for alternate logos also. I'll send those guys some PM's over the next week or so with some ideas we have!

Phew! Long thread.

Congrats to Neon, and all the rest of you who put in such alot of work.

Personally my favourite was iKon`s (the first allowable entry). It has alot of class, seems indicative of the type of music, and is just very clever all the way around. In a perfect world I`d merge that logo with Neon`s or Critizin`s or the guy that used the skull-font before Critizin borrowed it. In fact that guy`s logo was my 2nd favourite.

Can`t wait to see the website.

Guys, this thread rocks! Some creative people with such talent. I joined this forum just to reply to some of your ideas. Now the pitch: I'm in 2 bands now and one of them needs a logo. The band is a party band, focusing on mostly hard rock, GnR, Avenged Sevenfold, then some dancier stuff, The Killers etc...You get the idea. The band is called "Wired XXX" We also have a team of about 10 girls called: "Girls Gone Wired" so we present a sexy, party atmosphere etc. I would like to hold a contest as well, $50.00 to the winner of the best "Wired" logo design.
