mislee ---> That is amazing!!!! Well done, beautiful colorsused and professional design but still slick!!!!! The man shows curiousity which is perfect.

Only few things: take the tatto design off, not off the arm!
cartoon needs to be a shade darker... (i aint white,sorry, almost
half cast.
I know if you take the tattoo design off it will look empty on the
left, i dont know what could go there, i wouldnt want to ruin it
but try some city buildings blending in with the colors, something
i have on a photo on www.myspace.com/1bigzy
Also would like to see a different background on the font block...

Anyway, good so far!

wow, all of a sudden im getting bombarded with great designs, HTML,the upper right one is by far the best logo i have seen to my tastes, Mislee 2nd best as i think after a while i could get bored with the same cartoon figure whereas just logo is unique forever!!! I know i asked for the cartoon, but try what i asked, it could turn out better!

My humble effort

The b in the logo is based on the headphones on the bottom left design which is a vectorised image of your face.

It's all red at the minute but can change the colours if you like the designs.

Here's a mockup of a few t shirts (I know you didnt mention t shirt designs but I didn't want to try mocking up an album cover).

ikon ---> man i love that!!!! amazing design, i actually like it those colors but can you try the same green on my website just to experiment, i love what you did on the shirts as well, perfect and by far the greatest concept so far, headphones made into a B, beautiful creativity!!!!!! very happy, definitely in the lead!

If you do end up winning, i would want all these concepts including the shirts for a stroe on the new website next year... so thats great you did that...

Also, id like to see the face with headphone on a shirt too.

I will probably want both red and green colors seperatetly, also would you be able to provide me with different formats, GIF, JPG, PNG

here is my entry, done from scratch. It is in png form right now, transparent, i can send any type of file you like. Note: the small bigzy signature is actually all white and much clearer, but because of the watermark neoweapon, its a little colored in. I notice you was going to put it on your album as well, so i tried to give it that look where it could be used both as logo / album cover.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words.

I think you may be right about the character being limiting in that your look may change & evolve and the logo would then be obsolete. So, at this point I think I will bow out rather than revise as this type of work is pretty labor intensive. There are some excellent entries and I have every confidence that you'll wind up with a great one.

Thanks for putting up decent cash and for being so proactive with the feedback; other contest holders would do well to take note.

wow, very nice entry, i like it alot, however ikon produced something i could use for a logo forever, it is unique and a brilliant concept as it can turn into a brand as well. Your design is great but definitely for my album cover... i would offer to buy it for my album cover but i could discuss that with you in private.
Id like you make some ammendments to the face though, its a little bit chubby for me, no ofence to anyone chubby, its just doesnt look much like me, although it has potetnial, id also prefer it not to look so much attitude, tone it down just a notch and maybe drop the microphone, it ive the impression that im a hardcore freestyle rapper which im not.

no offense at all, but im heavily influenced by the HIP-HOP culture and dropping a mic from a picture that suppose to represent an EMCEE just doesnt represent you being on the mic. Headphones is something more for DJs and icons is meant more for clothing, yet i respect your choice on ikons work and that being also the reason why i wont waste my time doing revisions on something you aren't looking for. And about the album cover i refuse to do it as i dont understand why you would want two completely different outlooks on your persona. I wouldve slimmed down the face to look more like you, but after reading about DROPPING THE MIC... sorry man you dont live up to being a emcee/rapper.

sorry neoweapon, thats not how i meant to come accross. Your design is amazing, its just that you see it on album covers all the time now someone holding a mic, its common. I just wanted to see it without it. You right, ikons does reflect more of a DJ however its just a nice concept, this is becoming difficult to choose from and HTML logo definitely looks like something i could choose for long term, the mic is perfect on there, is that printable?

Neoweapon, i love your design but as for logo, you can see why i wont choose it, but ill definitely have it for and album cover if you change the face feautures at least to see the difference.

I just want to clarify that my design wasn't meant to singularly represent headphones, I was merely showing how I decided to make the 'b' look like that.

I modified it slightly to include a representation of a mic. The text at the bottom is to show how it could be further modified to be included in your name.

Your feedback would be appreciated on the changes. I feel it is simple, unique and brandable - everything you said about my original design.
