Hi! I am in need of a logo for a home based business called Terrapin Tots. We offer custom products ranging from baby shower gifts (diaper cakes, baby corsages) to baby and toddler clothing and accessories, to nursery and toddler bedding. We currently do not have a website up, but it will soon be in the works. The logo will be used for print and online purposes.

Details: I'm looking for a vector image of a turtle with the business name possibly following the curve of the shell. I'm not set on this, it's just an idea and I'm definitely open to others. I'm also open to suggestions for the color scheme, however I would like to stay away from dark colors. This is a baby/toddler theme and should be bright and happy! I will follow up with frequent feedback to keep everyone in the loop.

End date: Monday, Nov 13 at 10 pm(ish) CST

Thanks so much to both of you for your work so far! They're both really great starts, but completely different ideas. I love it! Anyway, down to specifics...

Woosh- While I like the turtle popping his head out of the logo, I'd like to see a little more of the turtle if that's possible. I'd also like to see the design in some softer colors. Purple, turquoise, pink, light green...not necessarily the standard baby pink and baby blue, but something out of the primary color range.

Neonimage- I like it! The flag is something I wouldn't have thought of myself - thank you! Again, I would like to see it in some different colors though. The shell is a bit dark for what I'm looking for (could you lighten it a bit?) and I think I'd like to see some solid multicolored lettering in a softer font, if that's cool. Perhaps in some of the colors I mentioned above? Turquoise, pink, light green, purple....and/or anything else you think may look good with those or similar colors.

Koncepts - Thanks for your submission. It's a nice logo, and I do like the use of purple, however I've seen that turtle used somewhere before and I'd like my logo to be a bit more original (at least in my mind

). I also don't get much of "baby" feel when I look at it. I'm wanting something a bit babyish and the character in your logo seems a bit mature (arms crossed, sneakers).

I'd love to see another submission if you have the time though.

Yes, Neon...sorry for any delay.

The logos with the color variations are more suited to my personality and I'm having a difficult time deciding which color combination I prefer. The orange/ blue version is catching my eye. Can I see the orange/blue logo with a different font? I'd also like to see the purple paired with something other than orange.

Hey all! I really appreciate the entries so far and I think they have tons of potential, but I was wondering if someone could come up with a logo that's a little more...for lack of a better word..."feminine". I don't know if it's something I'd like or dislike, but I'm definitely interested in seeing something along those lines. Some girly font and pastel colors perhaps. I'm still open to suggestions, so keep 'em coming.
