Here are the names I like from the name thread.

Einstein - Sounds smart and is familiar to most people.

Cedric - Also sounds smart but maybe a bit lofty and unapproachable

Argus - Not sure why I like this one but one of it's meanings is filtch or steal so
it may not be appropriate.

Maxwell - Means "from the great well" or "great well" - could be very
appropriate

Sam - Familiar, approachable, means "to hear"

Here is the pup we are naming. He will be the mascot for the store.

Will be taking votes all week. Remember that this is for a store and the character will be used to help promote individual products, give advice, and advertise in general.

Well since Argus seems to have so many bad meanings, best not to include it. Please don't vote for Argus.

Argus though is also derived from a Greek work Argos meaning Strong or Masculine hence "The Argonauts" from the greek mythology from the stories of Jason and the Argonauts. Thought it was worth a post.
