Hi everyone! I am in need of a logo for my pet sitting business. This is an updated post so it is easier for you guys (and gals) to see what I need / want. $30.00 + a possible $5.00 (see below) to the Winner paid through PayPal!!!

Logo Information / Requirements:

Pay – I am able to offer the winning designer $30.00 paid through PayPal. I may request a banner for my Website with the logo. If I do, an extra $5.00 will be added to make it a total of $35.00 to the winner.
About Mollycoddles Pet Services – I care for pets in their own homes while their owners are busy with work or travel.
My Target Market - I need my logo to appeal to my target market. This is families in the upper-middle to high income bracket. Basically, I need a logo that is going to stand out to my target market as being sophisticated, classy, and upscale.
Colors - I do not have a specific color preference, but I do like calming or relaxing colors, or colors that you see in nature.
Fonts - I do not have a specific front in mind either; I just want to portray elegance and style.
File Types - I must have all the necessary file types to use the logo on a variety of mediums without distorting or otherwise negatively altering the image quality. I will need to be able to resize the image with no loss to quality. I will be using my logo for the Web, all types of paper printed materials such as business cards, newsletters, letterheads and envelopes, etc…, and I will in the near future want to use my logo on banners, shirts, stickers, and other promotional materials.

Things I MIGHT Like Used in the Logo (DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELVES to what I “MIGHT” like used! Be creative if you have your own idea(s)!)

Cat & Dog Silhouettes or Outlines (not just one of each, has to have both (dog and cat) so I don’t look like I only care for one or the other)
Collage of a few domesticated pets (dog, cat, bird, fish, rabbit, etc…) (I know the logo would be cluttered if you use all these pets, but just provided the list as an example.)
Dog and/or Cat Paws
Whiskers?
Outline or Silhouette of a house or roof with pets/paws in or around it.

sh.lolz - First of all, thanks for entering, and thanks for the great compliment on the name (but, it is Mollycoddles Pet SERVICES not SITTING like you have in the 2nd design... Sorry, I kinda just threw the business name in there jumbled with all the other stuff)!

As for the designs, I am not very crazy about the 1st design. It is a little to...what's the word....generic I guess?...for the image that I am trying to portray. However, I do like the second design a lot. It is eye catching and although I would have never sugested pink, I really like the color alot. I wonder what it would look like in other colors? Just to see?

This may not be a good suggestion, and I will leave it to you, the professional, to decide, but what about adding some other graphics like silhouettes of a cat and a dog, or maybe even a collage of domestic animals (dog, cat, fish, bird, reptile) to the design?

I think I will add to my post some examples and things that I might like in the logo to make it easier for you, but PLEASE DO NOT RESTRICT YOURSELVES TO WHAT I WRITE! I KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE PROFESSIONALS AND NEED TO BE CREATIVE!!!

Basically, I want to keep it classy. The "pink" design you submitted does indeed look classy to me, so great job!

Doh - Sorry about that... Those look cute (I especially like the one with the cat and if there was a dog added in, it may be a tie between the "paw" and the "animals", but I think I like the original design the best still. I am in the process of updating my post, so stay tuned! Thanks so much sh.lolz!

PetChay - Thanks so much for your submissions. They are cute, but not what I have in mind. Here are a couple reasons why it's not my style:

The colors are too bright and don't seem to flow well together especially in the 2nd design.
I don't much like the stick figure with the dog.
And, where is my business name in the logos you sent?

Thanks Crong for your submission. It is 3:09am here and I have to get to bed. I will be on in the morning to offer more feedback (especially to Crong). Thanks for the entries so far. As of now I still like sh.lolz's pink and blue design the best, but I would LOVE to see more work from more designers! Have a good night everyone!

Feedback:

Crong - THANKS so much for entering! I like your design, but it is not what I am after exactly. I think the colors are a little too weak and I don't like how "pet services" is incorporated in the logo very much. I also don't care for the font. The paw is cute, but looks too much like the Clemson University paw logo for me. Not that I don't like Clemson, but I LIVE in Clemson / Central and can't have the same logo.

Woosh - THANKS for entering! I really like where your idea is going, but I am not crazy about the bunnies in the M or the hearts in the logo. I think the overall design just looks a little too busy for what I am going for... After reading more on the site, I think I am looking for a somewhat "cleaner" design. Also, what about another font and a few different colors? Again, I like where your idea is going.

petchay- THANKS for more work! I like the colors and fonts MUCH better than your last submission and the paw is cute. My business name is Mollycoddles Pet Services if you could use that in the logo and I will see how it looks.

HTMLDESIGNS - THANKS for your work! I like your concepts, especially the 1st one... but would like to see another kind of graphic in there instead of the feathers.

xpressions - THNAKS for your submission! I like where you are going too, but I wonder if there is not a better way to use the graphics in the logo? The cat seems to stand apart from the dog and that is where my attention goes. I wonder if it could be a little more "flowing"? Also, Mollycoddles is only one word.

Hope I am not offending anyone with the feedback. I am just trying to be honest with everyone. THANKS To ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE ENTERED SO FAR!!! You all are very talented and I think that even if some of the designs are not what I am looking for exactly, THEY ARE STILL GREAT!
