Thanks man! I'll try that in just a sec.
Here is the original logo for WT which I like. But I want to get rid of the background and go with a solid color. (I don't have the old png or psd)
What do you think about this one?
It addresses many of this issues you brought up.
I just want to get rid of the old background swirly stuff.

Font isn't techy enough.
Not enough contrast between text and background.
However, I do think the trio of people could be a useful motif.

That actually works very well! I don't like the slogan, but the graphic has a nice feel to it. It has a good mix of 'friendliness' with 'coolness' and 'professionalness'. Good job.
Regards

Praveen,
I love your banner, but I am a stickler for proper English, so I would like to see "and" spelled out. Great graphic, though.

Funny how you put "WT" in there. Nice job! I would have to change the slogan (I no you just put that there as example) and on first impressions I don't know if I'm crazy about the font (especially the cracks in the "talk".
Try making the "Webmaster-Talk" part a tad bit larger or bolder (I want that part to be very bold, clean and in your face kinda like the one that is already there). Maybe you could outline the webmaster-talk letters also so they stood out a little more (prissed earlier suggestion).
Montero, yes my $50 offer still stands if I decide to use the logo / header.

I would like to see the logo without the zigzag ">>>" lines that are at the bottom. They don't add anything to the logo, and the logo would be a lot cleaner without them. I think we should go for a simpler logo than what we have now, IMHO.
Good job on the logo, again, and the slogan is a lot better, although - what does 'talk about resources' actually mean? What resources are we talking about here?
Just food for thought,
Regards

Just uploaded new logo, cleaned up navgigation images and header background color.
I know it is not perfect but still an improvement IMO.
I can add a slogan to it once we come up with one we want to use (this is being discussed in the shoot the breeze forum).
What do ya think?

This is loads better. I now feel that this is an improvement over the last logo. It is graphically better than before because it has been 'cleaned up' and is simpler without the extra zig-zag lines that I didn't like.
Perhaps the slogan could go instead of the URL. I'm just thinking - adding an extra slogan could ,make it too busy and cluttered.
Good job.
