bigzy, my first impression, based on your photos, is your portraying a kind of dark image. (not the type of guy the ladies would bring home to mom)

This might be a stab in the dark but, would something in the vain of design more suit your image? fonts / colors/ darkness? Are you looking for a new logo? Or just a myspace page?

Sydpix ---> thx for entry, i like the idea in the first background but turntables do not reflect producing, more dj-ing, the font i do not like however, it brings out that dark feel which i am not trying to convey at all. Yes i am looking for background for myspace, but i am also looking for an official logo for the website worldsbesproducers.com to fit the design so i would need two versions, an official one and one to fit design.

The design of the website is just about finished and so far only have the logo i have showed you but i feel it could be better. i need a similar professional approach for it though.

Woosh ---> very impressive, going in the right diection, im wondering if the logo will be visible where it is for the background for myspace, it looks right however if i needed to change it im sure you would. i would like the whole design however to have more dominant edges instead of a ''cartoon'' look (sorry cant think of another word)

just a reminder to everyone, it's $80 dollars for 1st prize (background and logo) and winner will be shown whole website design to help me make a few more changes on design, i will pay extra $ for minimal changes to help me change a few things. thx

Thanks for the info bigzy. needing them for print is definitely something good to know before hand.

If you don't mind, I will work on a more "commercial" logo and background. Sometimes you need to throw an idea out to get response for a final product.

The basic idea for my logo is the following: Best producer is similar to Royalty.And the symbol of monarchy is Sceptre and Crown. In our case Mic and crown. The font i used is a classy font, you won`t see any respectable corporation with grunge, but with romanic fonts. The other reason is that you can see what`s there, to remain in memory after you saw it once.

ghiavolu ---> very impressive design, however microphone does not necessarily represent producing, it reflects more of an artist. colours will probably not suit the website for the logo, i will post a screenshot of the website a bit later when im home for everyone to see

woosh ---> much better although like you said font could change and maybe a few slight modifications to fit the website, i will post screenshot later for everyone to see to fit website, as for background i like it too but the waves inbetween headphones gives a techno feel for some reason, worlds best producers are for any genre of music, any producer of any genre.

ok, i have decided to show the website design since there are a few attempts at the logo, it would need to fit to the website where the current logo is. if you feel you could do better and replace it please do and anything you can do to make the design look better, any add ons etc...

ghiavolu ----> great work on the background, i would like a mixing console of some sort instead though, however i posted my website design before and designs do not suit colours, also logo has to fit the website, colours, design etc.

sorry i never showed before but i was only looking for a background initially, but all these great entries have me intrigued which is why ive increased the prize..
