Hi I need a Logo for a Talent agency based site that will be a community portal for the film and television industry. www.talentandcrew.com/index.php

I would like it to fit in with the aesthetic we have going on.

The current logo will be scrapped. Ayy ideas are welcome. Vector graphic is desired. Hollywood star / film crew... this a site for both...

The concept behind the first entry is nice, but i don't think it fits. The concept is a logo standing on its own to represent a company. THe other entries are trying to utilize the name as the logo. Not a bad idea, just different.

I sort of like the film strip in the top entry by Woosh.

I also would like to see a logo that will look good black and white as well as color.

Logo needs to represent both Talent and Crew. The site will focus towards acrots, models, musicians and directors as well as camera men, stunt people, gaffers, lighting specialists...

Here's my first attempt(s). I obviously used the same colours that are already on your site, and I also used the same people graphic from your current logo.

EDIT: Sorry for having such tall images, I like having a relatively large image to work with.

it would be helpful if you could comment on the current submissions and give each artist feedback on what you like, dont like or looking for.

Youare right abeloff, sorry about not being more helpful. I just spoke to my counterparts adn they said they want to stay away from the "American Idol" look and feel with the people in the logo. They want to be able to stand alone once American Idol is no longer a fad.

Please disregard the current logo all together and the color scheme. I would rather redesign the site around the logo then try to match the logo with the current site layout.

1. They like the concept of the old classic Hollywood star. Retro perhaps
2. Color scheme does not need to be red white and blue.
3. Borzoid - They don't like the scripted font and the logo needs to be completely different then then site.
4. TrentonD - The filmstrip idea is nice, but the people make it look too American Idol-ish. My partners do not like that.
5. Woosh, I think it is crafty, but all together, too busy.
6. Abeloff, the most logo-like, but the people are not what my partners are looking for.

I will up the prize to $60.
