Hi,

Firsty, I have started many contests on here so please have faith in me.

For this contest I'm an offering $50 payment via paypal only. Can also put a link in our other sites section to your design site (its a family site tho so the content must be viewable for minors)

I run a tv website - www.uktvindex.co.uk

I'm after 13 headers for the programme genres, these being:
(1) Topical/News (2) Drama (3) Comedy (4) Soap (5) Educational (6) Sci-Fi (7) Reality TV (8) Lifestyle (9) Music (10) Cartoons (11) Childrens (12) Gameshow (13) Talkshow

I need a header for every genre, they need to have:
*A white background
*Max width 500px
*Max height 75px

Headers can be smaller than width and height constraints.

I would like the headers to have a familiar theme, but to be have different aspects in relation to the genre. ie. comedy - someone laughing, or something like that.

I'm hoping to close this contest pretty quickly so please get entries in ASAP however I will give you good warning before it closes.

Tropica: yeah thats the sort of thing I'm looking for. But needs to be a little more busy, perhaps the note could be a television or something like that? also dont need the blue live at the bottom.

Here is what I've come up with so far. Wanted to see if you like them before I did more. These can be combined with your current logo (film strip coming out of your logo tv). Would also welcome your ideas on icons from some of these (like the reality tv).

Do like your entry, different colours for each one is nice and the icons are good. But I think replacing the filmstrip with the tv or doing something with our logo would be good. I dont want people to get confused thinking its a film site when its about television.

Could they also be a little longer in width as well, they need to fill quite a big space, but if you feel this compromises the design - dont change it! might be alrite smaller, its up to you.

For reality tv - maybe a camera? think big brother.

Borzoid: Thanks for entering and revising your images, they look nice. I won't ask you to make any more revisions unless I pick you but if I do I'll probably ask for a different font.

Classeium: Thanks for entering. I have added to your talkutation. I like the font and the icon, could you possibly do a few others for me, perhaps gameshow, comedy and reality tv. Just so I can see how they look.

Kiz: I like the more proffesional look, could you do a couple of others for me? also could the text be just a little smaller, like the font tho.

abeloff: Thanks for your entry. The headers will fill most of the top right hand side of a new browse by genre page and not in the other links bit. I do like your graphics tho. Could you make them a little bigger for me? as per the width/height dimensions mentioned in my first post.
