Something a bit different here... hope you enjoy, not sure how well this will work as a competition but worth a go.
I need a MAP/Terrain drawn. It needs to be as futuristic as possible. It is for a futurtisic BBMMORPG set on a planet deep into the future. If you win the competition you will be given first refusal on all further graphic work for the game as well as $30 for the map.
OK doesnt have to be massive, im thinking 400 * 500. The map just needs to show basic terrain. Does not have to resemble a map of earth. Where you would have 'countries' on a map of earth this map should just have one large land mass... so no countries, yet the terrain texture and apperance needs to change slightly to keep it interesting... include any hills/mounds, cracks etc as you wish, just be artistic.
Although one big land mass, it does need to be split somehow so that two parts of the land mass have a distinct difference. There are two 'regions' of the map, inner and outer... both regions should show clouds of 'photon pollution' yet inner has more, maybe that could be it?
OK basicaly more of a terrain than a map, similar to terrains found in games like red alert etc etc.
I apperciated that $30 is not much, though this is an entirely free game ive coded myself, and host myself and charge nothing to use.. so all money comes out of my pocket and i like to keep costs down.
