CONTEST CLOSED
WINNER - RAKIEN
This didn't work so hot in the other forum, so I'll put it here and up the prize to see if it garners more interest as a contest.
I need someone to make a b/w lineart conversion of the keyblade image provided below. Also attached is a picture of the other tattoo I got that this one is to match. Keep it in that style, with only a few fills to separate the different areas, and nice thick lines (this is going on my hairy leg, after all).
The best looking, most accurate one in a month wins the prize of $30US, transmitted via PayPal.
Good luck, and thanks a bunch!
Color Scheme: Black and white Type of Design: Logo Desired Dimensions: 2" x 6" or so. Desired Filetypes: .PSD? .EPS would do, I guess... I don't do any vector stuff, so I don't really know. Prize: $30 and the knowledge that something you did got tattooed onto my body. How prize will be delivered: PayPal End Date: July 1, 2007

Here's my entry:
Feedback is welcome. Thanks.
P.S. Did you want the little Disney logo and the chain attached to the key?

Holy hell, that was quick.
Looks great. Can I get a black fill in the dark hand-grip area? As well, can you do the chain and Mickey Mouse thingy?
Last but not least, I just need the outside lines to be thicker. When I did the other tattoo I think they were about a 20 px line at 6" x 1".

Thanks borzoid.
Here's the one with the Disney thing:
Didn't turn out as well as I hoped... It is mainly due to the fact that the chain is very detailed and would require very slim lines which I don't think would appear on the tattoo.

It's not a huge deal. I can add the disney thing myself. We're almost perfect, it's just that the outside lines still aren't thick enough. Can you thicken them more still? Thanks!

Is this bold enough or do you want it even more bold?

I'd like to see it thicker, but I'd like the inside line inside the handguard actually to be about as thin as it was in the second version. Can you make me maybe 3 more, varying the outside thickness up and up while lowering the inside line thickness a bit? Thanks! For all this work, there might be a bit of an increase in the prize amount. :P

Hey, you rock dude.
It kinda breaks it when you have it as thick as the farthest left one, doesn't it? Everything kinda merges together. I like the "thick" one best (ie. the least thick of the new 3), and just two minor questions:
The lines at the bottom of the handguard were nice and well-defined before but now look like grey smudges. I presume this is just from zooming, and not because you changed anything there, correct?
As well, I just noticed that the "key" part of it isn't vertically symmetrical; it tapers to a nice point at the bottom, but rounds off oddly on the top. Can you get both the top and bottom to be the same?
I'm sold, though. Give me a final draft based on the above and I think we can probably declare this closed. You r0x, dude!

Well, If you played the game you know that there's like, 16 to choose from. I suppose you could have full run of them, excepting the Winnie the Pooh keyblade as it's just a bit gay.

Thanks man.
Here's what you asked for:
The lines are as bold as the previous "thick" entry.
The lines bellow the hand guard are now well defined.
The key is now symmetrical at the top.
Hope that fixes everything.
