Contest Closed - Winner: Pigbait

Hi all,

Caption required for new design of a Job search website we are upgrading / working on:- www.redgoldfish.co.uk

Prize $100 USD

The ideal caption would either be focused on the fact that it's a "Job Search Engine for Jobs" or be a play on the "Fish" theme which we like.

Competitor Market Examples in use include:-
"Job Search Engine"
"All the best jobs in one place"
"Find Work fast"
"Search Engine for Jobs"
"one search, all jobs"
"Job Search made simple"

We need something that's not so boring BUT at the same time hits the message home that the site contains "a massive number of jobs from all over the internet, is easy to use, is a job search engine"

So far the best captions we have are:-

"Cast your net wider to hook the right job"
"Easy swimming through a Healthy Database of Jobs"
"Trawling the Net to Catch the best jobs" - Our favourite so far

Can anyone come up with a better alternative?

Surely you'd want something shorter, such as "baiting better jobs"

or... "Don't trawl the net - bait better jobs here". Something comparative.

Not sure about the use of the word bait?
"Don't trawl the net - Catch better jobs here".

Youre right about keeping it short, problem is keeping it both short and effective?

i tried to visit the site but it threw up an error code. anyway my Idea.
"just got tanked find a better job" get it ha ha ha ha ha tanked OK it's not that funny but it's fishy.

i see your site is a uk address I'm sure you know but in america tanked is a slang word for fired.

surely are soon as you get the caption you want , you are going to take it and run ,people cant watermark what they write.

or is that just me thinking the worst

I agree about being able to just use the caption though without paying?

no if it shows up on his site then we can sue because of this thread being here with him holding a contest. it's proof that who ever he picks wrote the quote.

But, TBH, they're all really similar. I would've chosen a few different ones and rotated them.

Hi all,

Very good so far... like a few of them

Neo - like it but cant use due to fish4jobs - too close
seolman - "schooled in job opportunities" - I like that!

Keep them coming, lets nail this.

- If a caption here is used be assured that the $100 USD prize wont be an issue. Based on the current strong £ to USD rate i can currently get a massive 2 times my money so it will cost me less than £50 to run this contest and its worth a punt. With so many here someone may come up with something original and something that makes an impact on future business - well worth it.
