Hi, thought i would give this one a shot, hope you like what i've come up with. The logo is simple but works on a number of backgrounds, here i have used a grey background but its up to you, looks pretty cool on orange if you were thinking of going the bright route. The logo represents fun, community & gaming, the three shapes are representing people, joysticks, chess pieces...whatever, tried to make it so it works on a number of levels.

I've saved the image as a GIF in order to make it an attachment but have it as a vector so you can scale it to whatever size is needed.

THank you so uch guys for your entries, I will be honest it was incredibly tough. The reason I didnt give much feedback was because it was hard to fault any of them. I liked the concepts people used and I may contact one or two of you after to use yours aswell.

Well, now that it's over, I guess I can say whatever I want:

The winning logo looks great but there's just way too much going on. A logo should be simple and effective (the BP logo for instance). Armanno had a great entry although the logo image didn't really pertain to the site name. The text is amazing on it. camyemess's logo is another great choice because it is so simple. I'd choose it if it didn't have the reflection or the bevel. The 3 dots are so simple yet fit so well.

And remember: it's just my opinion here guys.

Thank you for your opinion tenub. I guess, its a personal choice by the contest holder. A logo (or any design) does not need to succumb to an undue standard just because it is what is expected. Fundamentally, it should be something that works and represents an entity well no matter how minimal or generous the visuals are. At the end of the day, the decision and freedom of choice will always be bestowed to the decision maker.

I could be abhorring the personal work I rendered -- but someone beyond myself think otherwise. I guess we are ALL creatively diversified.

What I like about this is the fact that so much is going on. For instance...

Remove the middle graphic and 'watermark' the bottom right and you could have ready made stationary.

Take the 'GP box and controller' and you have an icon or avatar.

The black & white logo could be used as an image holder if no image is available.

The logo itself, in my opinion is the middle graphic, but there are other option within this graphic and that is why I would have chosen it.
