It's for a local radio station called 102.1 The Cobra, they play classic rock and modern rock too. They want a cobra like below, but vector, and they want it to have their name on it.

It's really simple; just trace the one below and make it vector, (adding a little color could get you more $$) and then add "102.1 The Cobra"

@Eightyeight,
I really like the cobra font, but I want something with more color and detail. Look at coolwanz for an idea of what I'm looking for.

@viptmm,
That's pretty neat looking but looks a little to glassy and I'm looking for something a little more cartoony. You're second one isn't popping at all. Sorry.

@coolwanz, WOW! That's like reading my mind or something. It's perfect. My partner isn't 100% sure, he says it's a little bland. What I'd like you to do is try some variations, what I'd like to see is at least 3 different fonts, maybe a few new color schemes of the cobra. Also I presume I can get it in a Vector EPS and editable source file, yes?

Coolwanz, your design is good but I think you make all logos fastly and its not have inndividuality, in other words, you make a lot of logo in "small time" and get a lot of money. I dont envy but you must make logos better. Coming soon I upload my work.

Hi renset, I'm sorry but I have to refute your statement about the impression of "fastly work, small time". That logo was made from raw and point blank, meaning i have to redraw each element -- including the spotted textures. There are almost 100 custom drawn vector shapes on that. It took me hours to complete that. Please, let us preserve civility on this thread and occlude recrimination of anyone's work -- beyond personal knowledge. If you win, I will congratulate you... no need for discrimination.

The 'Better work' is only adjudged by the contest holder -- not by us entrants.

The decision, opinion, suggestions will have to be left to the contest holder.

I think he's talking about the originality factor; the fact that you traced the cobra, however, not in all areas as I've detected, which is good.

But hey, no one's going to design a unique logo for mere petty cash like $30.

I very much agree tenub... I just followed the brief of the contest holder -- in fact I even went beyond the instructions of CH:" It's really simple; just trace the one below and make it vector" as you can see with the rendered work i posted, I amended quite generously.

@Resnet, coolwanz is a good guy and he takes a lot of time with his logos. Please be considerate of that. Your logo is very nice and I like it a lot, but there's an imperfection with the neck and face area. I don't really like the silver face either.

@go0t, I like it a lot! Could you play with the fonts a little? I love how smooth it is on the eyes; nice color choices.

@PigBait, LOVE the new angle. It looks a little wide and a bit cartoony though, can you work on the style of the Cobra?
