Hi,
I need a new logo. One that is funky, eye catching and modern. A few months back I had this contest and chose the logo I am not displaying on my website.

The logo should be just a little bit small than this one but it will be displayed in the same location.

Maybe some of these other websites will give you some ideas.

My background color may change as well and I'm thinking about getting rid of the one I now have and just putting in a plain colored background, possibly color #666666, which is grey and anything will blend in with it.

If possible, I'd like the logo to be transparent so it will go anywhere, especialy if I change the background color.

Thank you Dave. I think i found one of the problems in the other system. When i look at the bottom it says:
may not post new threads
may not post replies
may not post attachments. Could this be the problem that this needs to be turned on. I will notify the other entries to post here. thanks

Thats probably it, unfortunately I don't have access to the backend to make those kinds of changes.

flower12 i like the design idea but i don't like the font for modern abode and i think it looks better without fill

flower 12. what about dark orange symbol and black font. it doesn't have to go with the grey either. i'm not sure what color my background color is going to be so the skies the limit.

Heres something I thought up in trying to keep it simple and classy. The background is in transparent type and edits can be easily made. Let me know what you think, Click the thumbnail to enlarge.

Also newbie, I wanted to say that I liked your design but it sort of reminds me of a swastika (Not meant to deter Spacy from choosing you, just the first impression me and my friend got when looking at it)

Heres one more with the same general idea. Click to enlarge. Also I just noticed that I used the tagline from the first posting 'distinctive' rather than mid-century. That was a mistake but easily fixable

THEY ARE BOTH GREAT! And I like the idea of transparency because I'm a woman. I change my mind a lot! Wonder.... can I use a different logo on every page.? lol

I don't see why not~ I would have no problem giving you both, but generally a principle of webdesign is to maintain a single logo. There are several ways you can use multiple logos however, (ie. for other parts of the site, links exchange etc. ) Let me know if you have any other questions or if you want alterations.

armanno, thats creative. i'm not crazy about the reflective modern abode. how about in small letters"mid-century modern furnishings & essentials" and maybe some color
