I was wondering if anybody knows about a good free graphic program that i could create website graphics like buttons and other things with?

Gimp and paint.net are both free and good programmes

I vote for the Gimp, although I must admit I'm not great on the program myself, but that's my personal skills (or lack of).

I'll have a look at Inkscape Chris, although since I do most of my work on a Mac now, I wouldn't expect them to support OS X.

fauxto. dot com is also good. Quite similar to photoshop.

I vote for Gimp and paint for free programs.

Gimp is a great program but I also like project dogwaffle or artweaver

And with GimpShop you get a free Gimp with Photoshop-like interface.

I prefer GIMP to PhotoShop.
I can't afford PhotoShop, nor is it good for me.

Have you tried getpaint.net? It is much easier to use and great for beginners.

Paint.Net is pretty neat to but GIMP is more flexible and powerful.

try to use GIMP.

Try also image styler.

heard gimp was pretty good
