This problem has got me totally baffled! I have a site where the buttons are made up of three graphics. Left hand side, middle and right. I wanted to change these, so I made new graphics to replace them. They have the same height, width, resolution and format and I have named them the same as the original files and uploaded them and replaced the old files with them (with the original filenames) but for some reason they do not want to show up.

I'm not very experienced when it comes to graphics and my website skills, while not as bad as my graphics skills, are by no means a complete expert, but I just cannot for the life of me see why they would not be working.

Any help would be gratefully received! Thank you

Does it show a broken link or is it still showing the previous graphic?

The previous graphics are not showing. I am guessing that it is showing a broken link, but as the graphics are very small, I am unsure. This can be seen at thumoo.com.

If the new graphics are showing but are still very small then it's not broken links. It must be something else maybe with the style. I went to that page and got this message:

It's a permissions problem. Try viewing the URL of the missing images using your browser.

I see what you mean gringo. I have been in to check on the permissions for those graphics and compared them with the others, but they all have the same permissions.

Sorry for the bump, but this is driving me totally insane. I just don't seem to be able to make the graphics I want to use viewable. As I mentioned before, the permissions are the same as the original graphics and cannot see why they would be stopped from being displayed.

I have solved it! I found out there was a bug in my ftp program which was showing the same permissions for every file. Now I have a different one I was able to see the changes that needed to be made!
