This is in regards to the thread posted here.

Is there another file extension besides .gif that will allow animation? I use ps cs3, I've tried working with the different types of .gif, even dithered 128 is nothing but a big file size and the same poor quality.

Flash maybe?

i use Photoshop CS3 as well a full license etc btw hehe, anyway ye i dont like using gifs, and the only thing i can work with is jpg's, png's psd's etc just to keep the quality.

Also any graphic designer i recommend PS CS3 its great.

I agree, ps cs3 is great and I don't think I'd trade it for anything. Like I said, I hate using .gif, I usually don't but the other extensions just simply do not allow for animation and that's what I'm looking to do.

I know I have seen good quality animation. I've seen it before with the effect that I'm trying to create on those speakers Adiomad made.

I just don't know if it's a different program that I need to use or what. I have all of the cs3 products so I'm hoping it can be done with them. I just don't know how.

well i would imagine that Adobe would have made a product to do everything, it may just be a case of asking around as you are doing, i personally do not do animation at the moment so cannot help you on your quest there.
