Just looking for a simple, logoless text banner, and whipped a few up in Photoshop. What is everybody's favourite? If there's another combination of fonts you like, let me know.

I think 6 & 4 would look good together. Oxide (6) Photography (4)

#7 is a strong overall design, an alternate would be the opposite of what Kim suggested, Oxide from #4 with photography from #6.

I agree with Serandfe. Oxide from 4, photography from 6

you could also try 'oxide' from #1 and the rest from #2.
Personally i am not too fond of drop shadows in logos as they tend to take away their crispness and make text illegible when reproduced at smaller sizes.

I do like "Oxide" in number four, but agree that "photography" would be done better in a different treatment (than in #4). I don't think the blue shadow effect is necessary on the word "Photography", and losing it there would give you two advantages:
1) Contrast
2) Legibility (you could read the word better)

The blue on the white just doesn't do it for the eye for me hard to focus in a sense play with background colors too me thinks, am going against the grain but "oxide" in 4 and "photography" in 3
