Great site filled with knowledgeable people!

The subject line Say's it all, "How do I make a Product Picture dissolve or rotate to another on my Homepage?" (without making a new static page) any help appreciated.

I am limited in my ecommerce template with two product photos. A Thumb and a normal photo. I have a few photos I would like to display. Like one of my solar lights, I would like it to show a normal product display and then have it change to the Nighttime photo of it working and lit up!

Is there a way in Photoshop to do this and implement it into my template? or use code to do it. I'm not a coder but I have worked on code through example.

This is an ASP Template running on GoDaddy. I use FP 2003 to edit!

an animated gif would be simplest (relatively speaking ) and you need to use ImageReady

Or if you have Flash you can make a movie out of the images.

this can be achieved using javascript. if you google 'fading image ticker' or 'fading image scroller' you will be presented with numerous free examples. :]

Flash is the way to go, however if you're into javascipting the following are pretty nice:

I would say Javascript, simply because it's easiest to change. You can just change the images in the array in the script. With flash and GIF's, you have to get into the program and delete the old ones and add the new ones and add all of the effects.

That is, unless you make a flash video that uses an XML file to get it's images.

Can I ask what you shopping script is ? it may be possible to put images into the descriptive text ??
