Hi, I am using Dreamweaver 8 and want to add an image gallery page using thumbnail's that can be clicked on to enlarge. I am told that I will need the Dreamweaver Fireworks program to do this. Is there any other way or a freeware program that I can use with Dreamweaver to achieve this?

http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ is free and makes thumbnails quite nicely.

Whoever is giving you advice hasn't given you the complete story, any decent image editor will create thumbnails for you - just open up your large image, resize and save with a different filename. Add the thumbnail image html to your page and link to the larger images.
